Context
Every month, a challenge is organized on Uplabs, a sharing web site focused on interface, experience or interaction design. The subject of the competition was the creation of a web or mobile application to reimagine the booking experience of a movie in theater.
Last minute reservation based on geolocation
The solution was to enable a quick booking cinema ticket. I thought of a "last minute" section based on geolocation and session time in order to offer a quick transaction.
Several preliminary versions were necessary before arriving at a concept that combines ergonomics and aesthetics.
Therefore, I decided to quickly settle the key features I wanted to have in this application by taking myself as a potential user.

UI vs UX
Because I had a strong vision of where I wanted to go, I decided to start the ui design because I knew I'll animate the final concept in After Effect and I wanted interaction design to enhance the experience. At the end, I was finding myself more frustrated because the Ux wasn't efficient enough and had to change the position and modules.
Even if UI help me to see the bigger picture, this project definitely taught me that strong Ux is mandatory to work safely.
